The paper deals with the main recreational geography thesis concerning a so-called tourist product and problematic of the internal tourism and development of recreation in Russia. Evolution of the recreational employment is characterized, lacunas of a modern legal field of formation of a recreational infrastructure are revealed. Article considers also analysis of procedure of the modern land use management and town planning with the reference to the fixing of recreational zones.
