Compact design; can be installed in a coldroom; programmable peristaltic pump with a flow range of 0.05 to 40 ml/min; valves for manual or automated sample loading; simultaneous control of five buffers; gradient mixer; UV module for protein and NA detection at 254/280; flow rate (max) 20 ml/min, 2-channel peristaltic pump; operating pressure (max) 30 psi (0.2 MPa); UV detector – 254/280 nm filters, resistance to aggressive chromatography solvents.
Operating cost price per hour starts at RUR 500.

CAMAG high-performance thin layer chromatography system (2016)
Designed for high-performance chromatography of lipids and fatty acids in plant and animal tissue samples. Semi-automatic sample dispenser Linomat 5 sprays samples for qualitative and quantitative HPTLC in the form of narrow bands; volume can vary from several to hundreds of µl for quantitative TLC; control through PC with winCATS software and keyboard; ADC 2 – innovative automatic developing chamber used in latest generation HPTLC. Its design and functionality enable fully automatic eluation. With the scanning densitometer Camag TLC Scanner fully controlled by integrated software, the device can be set up to the necessary measurement settings to generate reliable data in a user-friendly format. The instrument can be used for quantitative analysis of the generated densitometric data.
Operating cost price per hour starts at RUR 600.

Mini-PROTEAN® Tetra Vertical Electrophoresis Cell (2010)
Used in biochemical studies for separation of complex protein mixtures, identification of protein fractions, determination of the purity of tissue protein fractions; a requisite step in the process of separation, isolation and purification of biological macromolecules.
Operating cost price per hour starts at RUR 200.

The formula for calculating the per hour cost price of using KarRC RAS Core Facility equipment (F) is the following:
F = À + B + C + D + E, where
À – depreciation of the equipment used in the activities and services, RUR per hour;
 – costs of maintenance and servicing of the key and auxiliary equipment used in the activities and services, RUR per hour;
Ñ – electricity costs, RUR per hour;
D - consumables, RUR per hour;
E – equipment operator wages, RUR per hour.

For KarRC RAS staff, the per hour cost price of using KarRC RAS CF equipment includes only the costs of consumables.
